Introduction

 

Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) is a key university directly under the administration of the Education Ministry of the People's Republic of China and also listed as “211 Project” to be priority invested and constructed by the state.

             

Founded in 1953, the University offers a broad range of programs now, including 61 undergraduate programs, 71 master programs and about 17 doctoral programs. It is a natural whole with the disciplines of Chinese languages, management, economics, law, education, literature, medicine, etc.

.

 

 

ZJUT lays great emphasis on international cooperation and exchanges and has established cooperative ties with many universities and research institutes worldwide. It also invites famous foreign scholars and political personages to be the part-time professors, honorary professors or guest professors. The University has currently 18 programs for more than 600 international students. Most of them have been awarded a diploma as well as a degree certificate after their completion of all courses according to schedule. Apart from that, the University has 12 foreign teachers from different countries and regions. ZJUT welcomes the cultural diversity the international students and teachers bring to campus life

 

 

How to Apply

 

Qualifications for Application

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

 

2. Education background requirements:

-- Applicants for bachelor's degree studies must have high school certificate;

-- Applicants for master's degree studies must have bachelor's degree;

-- Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master's degree.

3. Language proficiency requirements:

-- English Medium Degree Programs: Applicants (except for English native speakers) must provide proof of English language proficiency.

-- Chinese Medium Degree Programs: Applicants must have a certificate; HSK level 3 (or above) or have one-year Chinese learning certificate and transcripts from recognized universities in China.

Application Procedures

2. Submit the following required documents

(1)Highest education certificate and academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.

(2)Language proficiency certificate:

English-medium Programs: TOEFL or IELTS or other English Learning Certificate.

Chinese-medium Programs: HSK certificate or one-year Chinese Learning Certificate and transcript from recognized universities in China.

(3)Resume.

(4)Two recommendation letters from full professors or associate professors, in Chinese or in English (master and doctor applicants required).

(5)Photocopy of your passport and 2 photos, which size is as the same as in passport.

(6)Foreigner Physical Examination Report.

(7)Applicants who under the age of 18 should submit Guardian’s Letter of Guarantee; The guardian must be a Chinese adult or foreign adult who resides in China.

(8)Receipt of the application fee of USD 200 - 300 ( differs with University)

(9) A receipt of the service fee of USD 350 payable after acceptance.
